Spent time looking at a blank sheet of paper, or imagining endless posibilities., perhaps writting down a word, maybe two, but getting now where. It happens. We all need the edge or angle for a business, have you seen something before, liked the idea enough?

Ever consider franchising?

Franchising has a higher success rate. The time to have your business up and running is less, training and ongoing support is provided by the parent organisation. They give you advice on locations and can have branding & promotional material available. You get to network with fellow franchisees, can share stories. You can benefit from regional and national advertising campaigns.There are downsides also, from the goods or services that you have to sell, the colour of the promotional/signage. Also you may have to contribute to marketing campaigns, or price offerings that may affect the bottom line.A good match between franchisor and franchisee, sharing mutual goals over the long term, is essential to the success of each franchise unit, and thus the brand as a whole. It is akin to a marriage, its for those that have a long term view.
